HCCA-1618 Multi-arc Ion PVD Coating Machine   


       The coating machine is used to coat decorative film, especially coat the metal film, namely the term IPS in the clocks and watches industry. It integrated the technology of arc source evaporation coating to make the film. The coating film is corrosion resistance, wearable, good combination between the film and substrate, etc. It is widely used in the ceramics, mosaic, glass ware, watches, jewelry hardware, stainless steel and so on.

Process 

1. Need electroplating for base coating to cover the surface (for brass, zinc alloy etc; Stainless steel parts no need electroplating treatment.)     

2. Ultra-sonic cleaning machine to clean products and keep surface no dust no oil and no wax.    

3. Put into oven for baking    

4. Loading products on PVD fixture, put into PVD machine to get color coating.    

5. QC     

6. Customer can select anti-finger coating according to their requirements   

7. QC and packing   


Main features for PVD coated product 

1. Main material: brass, zinc alloy, stainless steel parts etc. For different materials, the most direct impact on the PVD process is pre-heating temperature, temperature control during the coating process. For example: stainless steel and brass pieces can be pre-heated to 180-degree; zinc alloy parts can be preheated to 140 degree; For different materials, it should make necessary adjustments on the process, in order to get the uniform color, consistent product quality.   

2. Main color: Main color for bath products: imitation gold color, rose gold, gray and black, stainless steel color, bronze etc. HCVAC can get all these colors by one machine. But sometimes, we recommend customers to coat different colors series in different batches. For example: when coat black, we need to fill the vacuum chamber with a lot of C2H2 gas, which will seriously contaminate the vacuum chamber. It will affect the next other colors a lot. In this situation, it’s not the technics problem, but should consider the reasonable production arrangements to ensure the stability of quality.    

3. Quality requirements: color and color difference, corrosion resistance, abrasion wear resistance, adhesion performance etc.. According to our experience, there are allkinds of abnormal occurrence during production. Need to be considered in all aspects of production, such as: In the event of poor bonding strength, we not only have to consider the PVD equipment problem, but also consider: the product itself, coating layer quality problems, cleaning problems, clamping problems, etc. 



Facility 

Required Floor Space:Length 5400mm x Width 4200 mm x Height 3100 mm. 

This size not include the deionized water system, ultra-sonic cleaning, drying, turnover and quality control room.  

Required environments: Equipment surrounding environment clean and tidy, clean air, should not have caused electrical and metal parts, the surface corrosion or cause between metal conductive dust, strong magnetic field and the presence of a gas.

Water cooling system (including 30Ton/H water cooling tower) - temperature (inlet): 20.25°C - pressure (inlet), static and dynamic: 6 bar abs. Required pressure difference between Inlet - and outlet: > 3.5 bar - pH value: 7.5.8.5 - conductivity: < 600 µS/cm - bicarbonate hardness: < 150 mg/l - sulphates: < 150 mg/l - particle size: < 100 µm - plate count: < 1000 1/ml PLEASE NOTE: These values apply to a water temperature of 20.25°C Consumption: 2800 l/hour Compressed air Pressure min./max.: 6 - 7 bar Consumption: 100 l/batch. 


Coating gas Supply high purity gas: 

Argon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Acetylene. 0.01Mpa supply (to be prepared by customer)

Compressed air system Supply of compressed air 5-8KG pressure. 10HP air compressor (to be prepared by customer) Including Air compressor+ Air filter (remove dust, oil, and water)+ Air dryer+ gas store Tank system.  


Electricity system Power Consumption: 

Machine in full loading: 130KW Average Power Consumption: Approx. 80kWh, 3- phases, 5-wires The machine also requires a 200KVA transformer (to be prepared by customer)  


Maintenance: 

Turbo pump oil: Change every 12 months. But need add the oil when it consume. Mechanical pump & Holding Pump: Change oil after first month operation, thereafter, change oil every 3-4 months Roots pump oil: change every 12 months. In normal condition chamber need cleaning and maintenance after running for 200 cycles for Zr/Cr colors. Specially: From deep color series to light color series must clean chamber, target, stainless steel inner sheets and empty coating for one cycle. 


Technical Data: 

1. Vacuum chamber:  Dimension:diameter × height: Φ1600 mm × H1800 mm. 

2. Open front door/Two observation windows in the front door    

3. The main body material of the chamber is joint with stainless steel SUS304, and high temperature annealing to eliminating the stress of the material, to promise no deformation in the long use period.   

4. Ultimate vacuum:8.0×10-4Pa. 2.2.2 Pumping time:atmosphere to 6.0×10-3 Pa ≤ 25min. 2.2.3 Pressure rising rate(keep pressure): 0.67 Pa/ hr.  

 

Movement mode of jig shelf 

1. Bottom plate type public rotation movement. Φ470*6 axises or Φ360*8 axises.  

2. Public rotation rate: 0~3 cycles per minute, transducer controls the AC 3-phase motor


Total power of the machine Total power is about 135KVA(three phase four wires + ground wire),auxiliary equipment provided by the user.

1. Supply the cooling water 5-25℃,flux 800L/min, Pressure 0.15~0.25MPa. 

2. Compressed air,pressure 5~6kg。
